About the role
ACAP is seeking an organised and tech savvy individual for the role of National Student Placement Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for high quality administrative aspects of the Student Placement Unit, responding to general enquiries and processing of requirements for student placements. There will be project work assigned as required and completed to agreed time frames. The succesfull candidate will also be the Superuser for the Student Placement Management System, Sonia.
The candidate we seek will ideally have:
- Experience working with and supporting higher education students
- Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver results accurately, efficiently and timely to meet agreed KPIs
- Demonstrated administration skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and attitude, and professional telephone manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills and experience with databases
- Strong presentation skills
- Understanding of WH&S, Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Access and Equity, Privacy legislation, EEO principles and practices and other relevant legislation
- Ability to work in and foster a harmonious working environment
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification or experience in organisations in the counselling, psychology, social work sectors preferred
- Experience with Sonia or other student placement management systems
