Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Home and Community Services is responsible for overseeing and leading a wide range of services that support the wellbeing and independence of older South Australians within their homes and communities. Providing strategic and operational leadership to the home and community service function and team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of high-quality care whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans in alignment with the organisation’s goals and mission. Key to your role will be to oversee a diverse service portfolio, including in-home domestic support, nursing and home care, allied health services, and respite care.
To be successful in this exciting role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
· Significant experience in driving organisational strategy
· Strong ability to lead teams through organisational grow th and change
· Extensive skills in ensuring optimal utilisation of key resources
· A focus on holistic continuous improvement
· Ability to identify and drive commercial outcomes
· Capability to encourage, inspire and lead strategic thinking, innovation and creativity to address diverse and complex issues
· Understanding of the home care industry, or other related industry with an emphasis on service delivery and workforce management in a regulatory environment
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data driven decision making.
