We are currently looking for an I&C Diagnostic Commissioning Engineer for a nuclear power plant:

  • Leadership of the interface to HBO experts (designer & manufacturer of the diagnostic systems) related to system commissioning work he/she is in charge of
  • Update – review and comment resolution follow-up of the System Commissioning Programs (SCP) and Commissioning Instructions (CI) including Customer's early involvement and local regular decisions
  • Adherence of the entrusted systems to IT Security procedures
  • Management of the installation reviews and inspections associated with the ECC (Erection Completion Certificate) process for the systems he /she is in charge of
  • Participation in the review of the testing equipment and peripheral testing devices required during commissioning
  • Support in the building of the commissioning time schedule
  • Collecting of the system related testing documentation at the applicable reference configuration (e.g. logic diagrams, Result Record Sheets and attachments, engineering master documents)
  • Participation in the definition of the on-the-job training program required for Commissioning Engineers as a pre-requisite to the execution of the commissioning activities and 1″ level maintenance of the diagnostic systems
  • Participation in the update of the commissioning tools and spare parts list for commissioning purposes

 

  • Management of the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) process for the systems she / he is in charge of
  • Initiation of system isolation process (blocking process) if applicable
  • Preparation of the commissioning document adaptation according to the actual system status on site (RFA process)
  • Performance of the commissioning activities within the entrusted scope under Permitto-Test (PTT) conditions including the Issuance of test reports
  • Supervision of the commissioning activities performed by other personnel in accordance with approved commissioning documents and in compliance with safety and quality rules
  • Checking and evaluation of test reports belonging to his / her systems
  • Review of Work Order (WO) requests associated to the systems he /she is in charge of and implementation of blockings — if any
  • Take part of on-the-job trainings provided by HBO experts along with operation and maintenance personnel
  • Enforcement of the IT-Security and HSE rules including applicable PTT / PTW processes
  • Management of the interface with the maintenance team
  • Review test procedures and time schedule
  • Execute the tests under the supervision of the mechanical process Commissioning Engineer
  • Assist to the preparation of the test reports including the assessment of the test outcomes
  • Support to troubleshooting activities 
  • Provide inputs to progress measurement and reporting linked to his / her systems
  • Initiate corrective actions in case of deviationsThe completion of the commissioning activities related to diagnostic systems is sanctioned by following events:
  • Issue of Customer's approved System Commissioning Reports (SCR) which closes out the Phase A pre-operational tests associated to this I&C system
  • Issue of approved TOTO (Temporary Operation Take Over) certificate which finalizes the transfer of the systems to OIO (Operation Integrated Organization)
  • Closing-out of all system open points assigned to I&C Commissioning branch
  • Successful issue of process SCR and PCR (Phase Commissioning Report) for their diagnostic system portions
  • Closing-out of all open points assigned to other commissioning branches and involving diagnostic systems

Requirements:

  • Engineer degree in automation field 
  • One significant experience in the design and/or manufacturing and/or commissioning of Diagnostic Systems
  • Good knowledge in diagnostic systems' products and functions suppported Establishment and / or review of system test procedures
  • EPR knowledge would be a plus
  • Capacity to coordinate the activities of the diagnostic system suppliers (HBO experts) with respect to commissioning scope
