Class 1 Driver - Leicester

Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well known parcel distribution company. If you’re confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we’d love to hear from you.

Shift Details: 

·      Shifts available: Monday to Sunday - Various start times between 12:00-20:00

·      Pay rates:

· Basic Pay - £20.34

· Saturday - £26.36

· Sunday - £29.42

· Overtime rates are also available

What we're looking for: 

·      Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card

·      12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles

·      Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Job role:

·      RDC Trunking around different locations

·      1-4 drops per shift

·      Handballing may be required, but a majority loads do not require it

·      Ensure that the Company’s health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills:

·      Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently

·      Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles in different sites

·      Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
