Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the UK supply chain strategy in line with global manufacturing/distribution models.
  • Coordinate demand forecasting and supply planning for high-value and technically complex products.
  • Ensure availability of parts to support customer OEM customer Production, uptime and customer SLAs
  • Oversee European transport and third‑party logistics providers to optimise cost, reliability and delivery performance.
  • Own logistics and supply chain cost performance within the UK entity
  • Establish and track KPIs (OTIF, lead time, inventory turns, service level) Drive digitalisation and system integration to improve data visibility, reduce manual data handling and maximise ERP/planning system use.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export, customs and trade controls; assess and mitigate supply and transport risks.
  • Lead, coach and develop the supply chain & logistics team; work closely with Sales, Service, Finance and Customer Support in a matrix structure.

 

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ operational supply chain experience with team leadership, ideally in high‑tech, electronics or capital equipment.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse processes, ERP systems, continuous improvement and budget/financial management
