We are looking for an International Expert in Resettlement & RAP Monitoring for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Ivory Coast

Contract Duration: 1 year

Qualification and Experience Required:

• University degree in sociology, economics, law or related field (Master's or Bac +5)
• +10 years of experience in the preparation and implementation of CPRs and RAPs
• Proven experience on at least 3 RAP monitoring projects in the electrical or linear infrastructure sector
• Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Fluency in French
• Residence in Côte d'Ivoire desired (to be demonstrated in the offer)

Mission:

• Piloting the implementation of RAPs in electrical and linear infrastructure projects
• Ensure the monitoring and follow-up of resettlements in accordance with donor requirements (World Bank, KfW, EIB)
• Conduct socio-economic studies to assess the social and economic impacts of projects
• Ensuring compliance with Côte d'Ivoire's social standards and legislation
• Supporting stakeholders and ensuring effective management of resettlement
