Salary: USD250 - USD350 per day

Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer
Location: UK (with missions to Iraq)
Missions Duration In Iraq: 1 week every three months (total 20 days per year + travel days).
Duration: 24 months with possibility of 12 months extension

Project :

Part of the Gas Growth Integrated Project (GGIP), Project aims to increase production of the Project field to 210 kbopd. The scope includes development of ~221 wells and construction of a new Central Processing Facility (CPF-2), in line with Company standards.

Job Tasks :

  • Manage electrical detailed engineering activities of the CPF-2 EPSCC contractor
  • Ensure compliance with Company standards, SOR, and international electrical codes
  • Review and approve electrical engineering deliverables
  • Lead and participate in electrical design and technical reviews
  • Support procurement to ensure equipment meets project specifications and objectives
  • Report discipline progress, risks, and issues to the Engineering Manager
  • Assist in reviewing change orders and identifying planning constraints
  • Coordinate with HSE, QA/QC, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams
  • Support CPF-2 Package Manager and Engineering Manager in project delivery
  • Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and project safety objectives

Experience :

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering within Oil & Gas projects
  • Strong experience across full project lifecycle (FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning)
  • Minimum 10 years in a similar role on medium to large upstream projects

Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.)

Education :

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering

Languages :

  • Fluent in English
