We are looking for a Planning Lead for one of our clients with the following details:
Location: Paris, France (occasional travel to Copenhagen, Denmark)
Start Date: July 1st, 2025
Duration: 12 months (renewable; estimated +6 months extension)
Status: Residential
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling for complex offshore projects.
- Strong background in large-scale project development, ideally within joint ventures or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Solid knowledge of scheduling, progress measurement techniques, and contractor management.
- Advanced user of planning tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word. Experience with Power BI and LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with planning/reporting standards and procedures within the energy or offshore industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Committed to ethical behavior and confidentiality, especially during sensitive project phases.

Mission Objective
- The Planning Lead will be responsible for overseeing all scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting activities for a large-scale offshore wind project. The role is critical to enabling project teams to plan, anticipate, and meet key milestones in alignment with strategic project targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain planning procedures, tools, and reporting mechanisms to support project performance and decision-making.
- Define and update a suitable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with progress tracking, cost control, and reporting requirements.
- Create and maintain integrated master project schedules and simulate alternative execution scenarios as required by project management.
- Coordinate and supervise all planning activities during the Development Phase (engineering, surveys, permitting, early engagement, financing, FID readiness).
- Assist project packages in setting up and monitoring progress measurement systems; review and validate contractors’ schedules, methodologies, and reports.
- Structure and produce accurate and timely project reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc), consolidating data from various sources.
- Support and coordinate the integration of outputs from project meetings and management reviews into reporting workflows.
- Provide continuous support to the Project Management Team on all matters related to scheduling and reporting.
- Identify and escalate critical progress issues and risks to the Project Management Officer.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all documentation and information related to planning and progress.
- Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to other internal entities for continuous improvement.
- Support additional PMO functions, including cost control and risk management, where applicable.
