CNC Setter / Operator - Oxford                                                                            

£34,000-£41,000 depending on experience

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Setter / Operator to join a UK known manufacturer in the Oxford area!

With no day ever being the same the CNC Setter/ Operator will be working within an exciting and innovative industry that offers genuine long term progression.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manufacture complex components to a high standard
• Setting and operating Goodway CNC machinery (lathes/mill-turn)
• Carrying out manual quality inspections using hand held tools
• Interpret and follow engineering and technical drawings
• Maintain documentation and technical reporting

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experienced operating Fanuc machine controls
• Ability to operate more than one machine
• Experience in a high precision environment
• Familiar with aerospace quality standards – and worked under them
• Hand held measuring tool experience (bore gauges, callipers etc) would be desirable
