Food Production Operatives - PM Shift - Onion Factory (Temp to Perm)

Location: Ramsey - OWN transport required

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (Saturday overtime occasionally available)

Pay: £13.45/hour (3 pm–6 pm) and £14.45/hour (6 pm onwards)

Progression: PPT, FLT, Machine Operative (pay increases with progression)

About the Role

We are recruiting reliable, hard‑working production operatives to join a busy onion processing factory in Ramsey. This is a long‑term, temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering stability, progression, and regular PM shift work.

Key Responsibilities

• Grading onions to meet quality standards
• Stacking trays and finished goods safely and efficiently
• Following basic instructions and training from supervisors
• Working at pace on a production line
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Demonstrating strong work ethic, drive, and reliability

Requirements

• Own transport (due to shift times and rural Ramsey location)
• Basic English – able to speak and understand instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast‑paced food environment
• Tenacity, drive, and willingness to learn
• Looking for long‑term progression (PPT, FLT, Machine Op)
• Able to commit to PM shift Monday–Friday
