Tate are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Repairs Co-ordinator to support the efficient delivery of maintenance services for a reputable organisation based in Bristol. This role plays a critical function in ensuring timely, high-quality repair services to tenants, through meticulous scheduling, consistent communication, and effective coordination with both internal teams and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, allocate, and monitor repairs and maintenance work for operatives in the field.
- Ensure tenants are informed in a timely and professional manner of any changes or delays to appointments and rearrange visits as necessary.
- Maintain open communication with on-site colleagues throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed within agreed time frames.
- Identify and escalate any issues that may compromise health and safety or resource availability.
- Record all updates promptly and accurately in relevant systems, ensuring that repair statuses reflect real-time progress.
- Provide informed and courteous responses to customer and contractor enquiries, always ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Liaise effectively with operatives, surveyors, managers, and external contractors to ensure a collaborative and streamlined service.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in scheduling, repairs coordination, or a related administrative support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer service excellence.
- Ability to manage a dynamic workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Competence in using IT systems for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
- Awareness of health and safety considerations in operational environments.
