Warehouse Operative – Permanent – Portishead (BS20)

Location: Portishead (BS20)

Salary: £27,000 (£12.98 p/h) or £28,000 (£13.46 p/h)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Mon–Thu: 8:00am–5:30pmFri: 8:00am–2:30pm

Breaks: 1 hour Mon–Thu, 30 mins Fri

We’re recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a well‑established company in Portishead specialising in golf equipment, personalised products, embroidery, engraving and heat‑seal applications. This permanent Warehouse Operative role offers long‑term stability, full training and great variety across multiple departments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Picking, packing and preparing orders using handheld scanners
• Supporting embroidery, engraving, heat‑seal and print departments
• Decanting, loading, unloading and general warehouse duties
• Repetitive tasks with good attention to detail
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Working as part of a small, friendly team
• Cross‑training across multiple Warehouse Operative functions

Hours:

• Mon–Thu: 8:00am–5:30pm (1‑hour break)
• Fri: 8:00am–2:30pm (30‑minute break)
• 40 hours per week

Pay:

• £27,000 (£12.98 p/h)
• £28,000 (£13.46 p/h) depending on experience

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Warehouse Operative or production experience preferred
• Comfortable with medium lifting and manual handling
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
• Reliable, punctual and proactive
• Good communication and teamwork skills
