Team Lead - Occupational Rehab Specialist

Brisbane, QLD |  $125,000 + Super + up to $80,000 bonus

Join a growing occupational rehabilitation provider with  taking on a hands-on leadership role while continuing to manage a clinical caseload.

You’ll spend approximately 70% of your time in Occupational Rehabilitation / Case Management and 30% in leadership, supporting workplace injury cases from early intervention through to complex and chronic presentations.

The caseload

• Manage workplace injury and occupational rehabilitation cases from assessment through to return-to-work
• Conduct workplace, functional and vocational assessments on-site with clients
• Develop practical strategies addressing physical, psychosocial and workplace barriers
• Liaise with workers, employers, insurers, doctors and allied health professionals
• Manage reporting, billable hours and service delivery

Leadership responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Occupational Rehabilitation Consultants
• Conduct regular coaching, check-ins and team meetings
• Support quality assurance, performance and professional development
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and succession planning
• Contribute to improving systems, resources and service delivery

Skills & experience

• 4+ years' healthcare experience, including ideally 3+ years in occupational rehabilitation
• Relevant Bachelor's degree and professional registration/accreditation
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Open to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses and Rehabilitation Counsellors
• Strong case management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Adaptable, supportive and conscientious leadership style
• Strong communication and typing skills (45+ WPM)
