The role:
We are looking for reliable, motivated Production Operatives to join our friendly team in a clean, modern production environment. The role will involve a mix of inspection, light assembly, pressing, packing and recording production information accurately.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. We need people who will turn up on time, work hard, take pride in what they do and maintain a positive attitude every day.

Duties:

  • Inspecting decorative interior components to a high standard
  • Light assembly of parts
  • Packing products for direct dispatch to customers
  • Operating light hydraulic presses, including loading and unloading parts
  • Reporting any defects or quality concerns to the Team Leader
  • Unloading and packing coated parts
  • Keeping the workplace clean, tidy and organised
  • Communicating clearly with other members of the team
  • Using a simple MRP system to log and record data accurately
  • Maintaining a positive attitude towards tasks and production requirements
  • Being flexible with working hours between 8am and 4pm depending on production needs
  • Working overtime when required, depending on seasonality and customer demand
