3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Salary: £29,744 per year
Hours: 44 hours per week – 4-day working week, 6:30am start
Pattern: 3-week rotating shift pattern – No Sundays

Are you an experienced, reliable driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service? We’re hiring a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation in Livingston.

This is a permanent role offering a 4-day working week, no Sunday working and a 5-day rest period every three weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be responsible for delivering furniture safely and professionally to customers' homes while providing an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Safely driving a 3.5 Tonne delivery vehicle and following planned delivery routes
• Loading, unloading and delivering furniture safely
• Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily deliveries
• Assisting with furniture delivery and installation in customers' homes
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Completing vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork
• Reporting any vehicle, delivery or customer issues
• Following all Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean and professional delivery vehicle
• Supporting warehouse and distribution duties when required
• Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid UK driving licence suitable for driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle
• Previous delivery, driving or logistics experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional and positive attitude
• Comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team
• Good time management and ability to follow delivery schedules
• Strong understanding of safe driving and manual handling
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
• Ability to follow company processes and Health & Safety procedures

Previous furniture delivery or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
