Shifts Available: Early Shift OR Back Shift
Pay: £13.65 per hour, rising to £15.05 per hour after training – Early Shift
Pay: £15.08 per hour, rising to £16.63 per hour after training – Back Shift
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to build something great? We’re hiring Timber Assembly Operatives to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing team in Glasgow.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and technical drawings, and a drive to achieve high standards of quality and output.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Skilled Production Operative, you’ll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:
- Following step-by-step process guides to build wall panels and install windows and doors within a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Interpreting technical drawings to ensure builds are completed accurately and to the required quality standards
- Using a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Carrying out manual handling of timber and other materials
- Working to daily quality and production targets
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Working closely with your team and line leader to maintain efficient workflows
- Supporting continuous improvement across the production process
Shift & Pay Details:
Early Shift
Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm
£13.65 per hour, increasing to £15.05 per hour following successful completion of training.
Back Shift
Monday to Thursday | 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday | 2:00pm – 6:00pm
£15.08 per hour, increasing to £16.63 per hour following successful completion of training.

- Previous experience in a production, fabrication, joinery, timber or assembly environment
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and detailed work instructions
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Strong focus on quality, safety and achieving production targets
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
- Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- A positive team player with a proactive attitude
