Castle Technology Division are looking for a systems engineer to provide technical support for a variety of clients with diverse problems as well as managing projects tailored for each individual business. This is a bespoke role as all clients requirements are different, making it a very hands on, diverse role. You will be working for a forward thinking successful company offering excellent benefits and a modern working space.
Role and responsibilities
- Undertake 3rd line support issues that arise from a variety of different clients
- Be confident working in security, remote access and wireless networks
- Excellent technical knowledge, having the ability to apply this to a variety of different IT issues that arise
- Confident troubleshooting, configurations and implementation and modifying systems
- Ensure every project is completed from start to finish
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and have the ability to resolve issues and escalate faults when necessary
- Creating manuals and reports that can be used by the support team and shown to clients
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years within a similar IT roles
- Previous experience working with clients and dealing with issues/applications and systems that they use
- Experience troubleshooting and problem solving
- A varied technical experience is essential
- Someone that is passionate about working within IT
- Experienced in a client facing role
