Based Clevedon, near Bristol to £23,000. + bonus + benefits
You will be able to demonstrate a passion for the highest levels of customer service, using your broad range of IT skills and experience to look after the customer from their first question through to fixing their fault or completing their project. You will deal efficiently with customers, suppliers and internal colleagues to ensure projects, troubleshooting, service and support are available and communicated at every stage. You will work both independently and with the team assisting with a wide variety of IT tasks, both small and large, with a speedy, cheerful and helpful attitude.
Our Clevedon based client has been providing Specialist IT Support and IT Services to businesses in Bristol and throughout the UK for over 2 decades. You will work with an experienced and friendly team with a loyal customer base, their expertise includes IT advice, project implementation, IT Security Management, IT support and IT services. They provide fully managed IT support services for clients throughout the south west and as a Microsoft Silver Cloud Productivity Partner, they are supporting businesses with Cloud-based installations at an ever increasing rate.
You are already an IT service professional with relevant experience on an IT Service Desk / Service / Site environment. You will be able to demonstrate a positive, friendly and professional manner with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads, prioritise projects and multi-task. General skills and abilities should include:
- Building a Windows and a Linux server from scratch
- Using an iLo, iDRAC or equivalent to build a server
- Installing VMware or equivalent
- Creating email, OneDrive and SharePoint using Office 365
- Configuring Veeam Backup and Recovery technologies
- Setting up a switch in a VLAN
- Configuring routers with a range of public IP addresses
- Creating, modifying and testing a firewall rule
- Configuring an IP telephony endpoint to connect to hosted telephone systems
- Configuring Azure servers with remotely accessible file shares
