The Role

As Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for tariff pricing based on the latest forward curve and cost stack.  (There will also be some opportunity to develop into other roles within the Trading & Pricing Team.)  Your responsibilities will include:

  • improving current pricing process / keeping input costs up-to-date
  • developing models for forecasting industry costs
  • designing pricing input database
  • designing / developing new pricing models with extra capabilities / flexibilities for new products
  • negotiating with third party providers of pricing platforms and industry reports
  • working with data science team to improve customer forecasting inputs into pricing model

The Person

As Pricing Analyst you will have experience in a similar role within the energy supply business, and a mathematical / numerical based qualification. You will also have:

  • knowledge of SQL, Python (mainly Pandas), Tableau, Excel, MS Office tools and Google Suite
  • a can do attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • solid analytical skills

You’ll be joining the company at an early stage and will be able to adapt to change and love doing things differently. You’ll have the opportunity to help develop the role with your natural sense of curiosity. A passion for sustainability and the environment is desirable, but if you are successful you’ll soon be converted!

Depending on how government guidelines change over the coming months, this role can either be worked from the office or home or a mixture of both.
