The Role
As Carpenter / Loft Conversion Project Manager, you will lead a project team on all domestic projects ( loft conversion / bespoke building projects ). Your responsibilities will be:
- supervision & leadership of all labour on site
- responsibility for quality control & safety on site
- oversee / monitor productivity ( in-house / contractor )
- all project administration / customer liaison
- working to project plans / timetables to ensure customer satisfaction

Based in North Somerset, work is undertaken mainly in & around Portishead, Bristol, Clevedon, Weston-S-Mare, Bridgwater & Taunton.
The Person
As Carpenter, solid practical experience in loft conversions is essential, as this is the core business of the company. Ambitious, target orientated, customer focused and reliable you must have the following practical construction skills:
- roof configuration
- floorplan installation – joists & steel work
- dormer construction
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- understanding of electrics & plumbing etc
- ability to read / understand architects drawings / structural calculations
- knowledge of building control inspections / regulations
Your own transport and tools are essential to this role.
