Financial Analyst                       Bath                 £30,000 p.a. to £40,000 p.a. + benefits d.o.e.

Great opportunity for dynamic Financial Analyst to influence long term strategy of progressive digital renewable energy supplier in Bath

THIS IS YOU

As Financial Analyst you have the ambition & drive to help propel the business through the provision of detailed, reliable financial information. You will support the Financial Controller and Finance Director with focus on analysis & forecasting of the gross margin. You will make a significant contribution to the delivery of monthly management & statutory accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a progressive finance team, with the chance to influence the company’s wider, longer term strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

• analysis & forecasting of revenue / cost of goods sold
• assisting with preparation of management accounts / statutory accounts
• cash flow & business modelling
• ad-hoc financial analysis

You will have experience working in a similar role within the energy industry, and will have relevant qualifications (eg CIMA, ACA, ACCA).  With an interest in the environment and sustainability you will also have:

• strong analytical skills / ability to use analysis tools (Python)
• ability to multi-task
• strong numeric & written communication skills
