The Role

As Front End Developer you will join the newly formed App Innovation & Development department, working in a small team defining, designing, and developing new features & products. Collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to deliver value to users and the business, and working in an agile scrum team, your responsibilities will include:

  • building innovative, beautiful, on-brand products
  • designing, delivering & testing new features, products & tools
  • owning & developing a component & pattern library
  • maintaining performance of Site & Apps / products
  • contributing to code reviews
  • evaluating new front-end technologies, suggesting improvements

Hybrid working model - 3 days a week at Head Office, 2 days a week work from anywhere

Our London based client is building a new team for their head office.  It is home to a fast growing and diverse workforce.

The Person

As Front End Developer you will have commercial experience maintaining & developing Apps & websites.  With attention to detail, an eye for design, and an aptitude for problem solving, you will be comfortable working as part of a small team.  You must have experience of:

  • delivering and maintaining concise front-ends / Apps ( React / React Native )
  • using data insights & rapid prototypes to validate & improve UX
  • working with component libraries & atomic design patterns

and knowledge of:

  • JS, HTML, CSS
  • front end templating languages (Twig, Lightning Web Components a bonus)
  • RESTful API's and GraphQL
  • Git & CI/CD
