The Role
As Internal Verifier – Retail you will be responsible for the quality assurance of the full learner journey, supporting area managers to implement sector-based curriculum across all programmes, improving both teaching & training, as well as technical and occupational competence of trainers. Key responsibilities include:
- confirm occupational / teaching competency of trainers as part of recruitment process
- deliver role specific & sector-based training as part of trainers on boarding plan
- provide ongoing support during probation
- assess qualifications for trainers to achieve CAVA and EAT
- complete observations covering all points of learner journey

The Person
As Internal Verifier – Retail you will have an assessing qualification ( CAVA / IQA ) training / assessing experience, preferably with an e-portfolio system / awarding organisation. Experience in the Retail sector would be an advantage along with:
- a positive approach to stakeholder management / ability to balance conflicting demands
- ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
- excellent accuracy / attention to detail / written & verbal communication skills
- experience in a WBL / educational environment
