Supply Chain & Planning Manager for successful international Bristol based business

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the management of the supply chain process from raw materials through to customer deliveries with main duties including:

  • Managing teams to be autonomous in their roles and deliver OTIF targets
  • Optimising the supply chain, planning and logistics operations to, from, and on site
  • Costing and estimating processes for existing and new customer supply orders
  • Assisting with the smooth planning and running of all production processes
  • Warehousing, distribution and stock control of all raw materials
  • Developing excellent customer relations in the whole of the supply chain

You will produce weekly & monthly reports for Monthly Operations Review meetings, resourcing your team and overseeing people development within your Customer Service, Planning, Warehousing & Distribution departments.

The Person

As Supply Chain, Logistics and Planning Manager, you will have substantial experience in a similar role in a modern manufacturing, engineering or production environment. You will be customer focussed, a change-oriented manager, strong communicator and fully computer literate, familiar with a variety of IT and MRP systems.
