The Role

As Systems Accountant you will be responsible for the administration of financial controls on Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs), implementing standardised finance practices & policies. Liaising with management across departments, your duties will include:

  • project accounting, variance analysis, journal entries, balance sheets
  • maintaining reporting solutions
  • documenting and training of new procedures / solutions
  • problem solving queries relating to month end / quarter end / year-end closing

The Person

As Systems Accountant you will have relevant qualifications ( ACA / CIMA / ACCA ) with a  background in systems accounting.  You will have strong knowledge / experience supporting Dynamics AX and working with Atlas, and a background / interest in IT. As a team player who can work independently, you will also have the following skills:

  • understanding of databases and VBA
  • strong Excel and Word skills
  • proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • experience with Microsoft AX 2009, Atlas / JET / Bi4Dynamics / Vision
  • experience with D365 ( or equivalent ) for Finance & Operations  
  • change management experience / project experience
  • experience with PowerBI / Tableau / PowerPivot / Business Objects is advantageous
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
