Various sub-contractor opportunities with Croydon based company installing fibre broadband network across London and the South East.

The Company

Our client installs ultrafast fibre broadband to locations across London and the South East.  Due to ongoing success, our client is expanding and they have some exciting opportunities available. They are working alongside community fibre providing full fibre network connectivity across London and the south east, now focusing on building the future. They need hard working team players to work in partnership with their expanding business.

OppOrtunities

PIA team members (TRR, build and Fibre blow)

  • experience in the civils and PIA industry
  • experience working on Openreach network
  • understanding of A55s
  • ability to work with design schematics / duct diagrams / works instructions

Civils gangs

With previous experience working in telecommunications you will carry out excavation, backfill and reinstatement works as part of a two-man gang.  You will also need:

  • experience in civils and PIA industry
  • up to date NRSWA for Streetworks
  • full driving licence

Splicers

With experience working for telecommunications operators, you will also have:

  • experience splicing / testing / fault finding on fibre optic networks
  • current N23 splicing qualification to work on BT Network or equivalent
  • mounting / lifting the AFN
  • ability to work with design schematics / duct diagrams / works instructions

Block Wirers

With experience working for telecommunications operators, you will also have:

  • ability to work with design schematics / duct diagrams / works instructions
  • working knowledge of fibre network build
  • own vehicle / working at heights training
  • MDU Block wiring FTTH
