Office Administrator Derby £16k to £20k p.a. depending on experience
Administrator required for well-established Derby based construction company
The Role
As Administrator, you will join a small estimating team, performing general office duties including:
- sending and chasing enquiries
- general correspondence / checking arithmetic / filing
- Excel spreadsheet work
- preparing / amending programmes on Microsoft Project
- answering the telephone / dealing with emails
- setting up estimate and contract files
- working on client portals uploading / downloading, drawings and other information
The Company
Established for almost 40 years, our Derby based client is a principal contractor delivering a complete solution regarding all aspects of construction and shop-fitting from inception through to completion. In addition the company undertakes individual and roll out contracts from minor works to full turn-key projects.
The Person
As Administrator you will have previous experience in an office environment with a strong work ethic and the ability and interest to get involved in a wide variety of business tasks. You will have:
- a proactive and positive approach to your work
- ability to work independently and as part of the team
- excellent knowledge of Excel and Word
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- an ability to multi task / prioritise / work to deadlines
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m.
