The Role
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the organisation’s financial strategy, working closely with internal & external stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- provision of accurate / timely financials & analysis of current programmes and initiatives
- leading & contributing to annual budgeting / forecasting process
- working with senior team to build strong relationships / support delivery of company plans
- supporting cash & treasury forecasting
- supporting bids & tenders, and assessing risk for new tenders
- reporting on a range of KPIs to board and trustees
- supporting financial & legal compliance
The Company
Highly successful and with a reputation for excellent service, our client is a growing charity undertaking truly valuable work in the housing/supported living sectors.
The role is based near Cardiff, but currently will be home based. Post pandemic our client envisages only 2 days per week in Head Office making this role a manageable commute from Swansea, Bristol, Cheltenham, South Midlands and mid-Wales.
The Person
As Finance Manager, you will be a part or fully qualified accountant with good financial management experience. Charity experience would be valuable and you must have strong commercial and financial skills. You will also have:
- excellent organisation skills & presentation skills
- willingness & aptitude to manage a small team
- analytical approach
- robust attention to detail
