£50k+ Base Salary (DOE) + Generous Commission Scheme

The role
Our client is a UK-wide specialist in providing Industrial Engineering products and applications to a growing range of industrial sectors, including Heavy Steels and Fabrications, Energy and Chemical.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, ambitious and self-motivated sales professional to join the commercial arm of a growing and evolving industrial specialist, enjoying a competitive salary and desirable commission and bonus scheme.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and growing our client’s existing customer base and revenue through B2B and B2C sales across the UK
- Developing a strategic sales strategy in line with the vision of the Commercial Director
- Overseeing all aspects of the sales process, from introduction to closing of deals
- Managing key accounts, fostering productive and long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Conducting site & client visits to establish, analyze and propose solutions to customer requirements
- Record all sales-related activities within the CRM system
- Liaising closely with engineering and production departments to address any technical queries or issues and establish timeframes and delivery deadlines
About you
- Proven track record of B2B/B2C sales generation
- Solid Experience in an Industrial Engineering Field – Oil, Gas, Heat Exchange and/or Heavy Steels (highly desirable)
- Technically-minded, comfortable with mechanical engineering concepts
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- A strategic and problem-solving approach
- A full driving license (essential)
- The ability to work autonomously (essential)
- A willingness to travel cross-country (essential)
