Our Client

Our client a is seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their established and highly skilled engineering team. Here, maintenance engineering skill genuinely matters — this is a fast‑paced production, high automation environment, where minimizing downtime is key.  

What you’ll be doing

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be supporting an automated FMCG & packaging site that runs at pace. You’ll be trusted to work independently, think laterally, and keep the lines running smoothly.

• PPM & Reactive Maintenance — ensuring equipment reliability and rapid response to breakdowns
• Root Cause Analysis & continuous improvement initiatives
• Working across 3‑phase motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general electrical maintenance

What You’ll Need

• Strong electrical competence (17th or 18th Edition)
• Confident with PLC fault‑finding
• Experience in FMCG, packaging, or another fast‑paced automated environment
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently
• A mindset geared toward improvement, reliability, and ownership
