Field Service Mechanical Fitter 

Cradley Heath

£36k - £41k (Depending on Experience) + Overtime.

39 hours per week

Core Hours are Monday to Friday – 8am to 5 pm (Lunchtime Finish on a Friday!)

We’re looking for an experienced, ambitious, and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join a highly successful supplier of bespoke Mechanical machinery.

Primarily a site-based role within Cradley Heath, but will involve regular travel around the UK and very occasionally overseas to support a wide and expanding client base!

What you’ll be doing

• Assembling precision engineered components of large machinery, working from technical drawings.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bring big projects through to successful completion!
• Installing, servicing, repairing, and testing bespoke industrial machinery both on site and throughout the U.K.
• Representing our clients’ customers in the absolute best light!

What you’ll need

• Solid experience in a Mechanical Production environment, assembling large and intricate machinery.
• Fitting motors, gearboxes, drive shafts and other mechanical component parts
• The ability to read and apply technical and pneumatic drawings.
• Installing, commissioning, and testing sizeable machinery
• Time-served apprenticeship or engineering experience – A Must!
• An industry recognized engineering qualification (NVQ / C&G) – Highly Desirable!
