Salary: AUD24.74 - AUD26.27 per hour + Paid TAFE Days & FREE Uniform

MEGT are seeking a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice ! Join a leading manufacturer in the pool & spa industry, where you’ll learn and perform general plant maintenance at a modern facility. You’ll work closely with maintenance, manufacturing and quality teams to keep equipment, tooling and production running smoothly. The organisation is part of a global business, with a strong reputation for R&D, manufacturing and distribution across more than 45 countries.

The Opportunity

Your duties will include :

  • Operate CNC machines, power tools, and workshop equipment.
  • Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and flow racks; perform MIG/TIG welding.
  • Handle materials and manage tooling using maintenance software.
  • Follow instructions to complete fabrication and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain machinery and workshop cleanliness to WHS standards.
  • Support process improvements and continuous production capability.
  • Work closely with maintenance, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Just like a good toolbox needs all the essentials, there are a few you’ll need for this role :

  • A valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle
  • Strong desire to learn and develop new skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on mindset
  • Clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to work
  • Willing to take initiative and “walk the talk”
