Salary: AUD40 - AUD45 per hour + salary sacrifice
  • Registered Nurse – Part Time – AM SHIFTS - MONDAY TO FRIDAY
  • Leading Aged Care Provider – Edgewater – 35 Beds
  • $40ph-$42ph + super + salary sacrifice 

 

The Exciting Opportunity:

Our client is a leading provider in the residential aged care area and they have a very good reputation where they value and respect their staff.  They deliver high quality care to their elderly residents and have various facilities across the whole of Perth.

They have a full complement of clinical and care staff in their 35 bed facility and believe in investing in their people, in order to nurture, train, develop and enhance their team, so that they can deliver the best personal centred care to their residents. We now are seeking a Registered Nurse with some aged care experience who is passionate about providing high quality care to residents. 

We are looking for a full time RN who can work Monday to Friday 7am - 1.30pm. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with individual resident preferences and best practice
  • Ensure aged care standards are met and adhered too
  • Coach, mentor and supervise all care staff on shift
  • Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments if necessary
  • SIRS - management and reporting
  • Ensure all care plan documentation is completed with appropriate strategies implemented
  • Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals
  • Support residents by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns
  • Complete assessments where applicable 

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly focused on person centred care practice
  • Nursing qualification and current professional AHPRA registration
  • Ideally experienced in Aged Care and working with people who have cognitive impairments
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation is desirable
  • Knowledge of and experience in ACFI (Aged Care Funding Instrument) is desirable
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
  • Current influenza and COVID vaccinations notifications (or approved exemptions)
