The Exciting Permanent Opportunity:

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic HR Advisor who is able to support the payroll function for our client. This is an exciting time to join their business as they go through a period of growth, their business is booming!

You will be responsible for all generalist HR activities including :

• Award interpretation
• Employee Relations – dealing with performance management, advising key stakeholders, terminations, investigations, and more
• Recruitment – dealing with labour hire companies to organise casual employees
• Supporting with Injury Management and Workers Compensation matters
• Checking payroll with finance team and ensuring employee and payroll details are correct and being paid against the correct award, rate and penalties
• Onboarding of new employees – issuing contracts of employment
• Able to assist with HR best practice policy and procedure

The Ideal Candidate:

• Quick and willing to learn
• Flexible attitude, happy to perform in a generalist position
• We will consider more junior HR candidates who show that they have the aptitude to step up into this position
• Must be hands-on and able to roll their sleeves up and help out wherever required
• Must have very good computer literacy
• Looking for career progression where you can develop and move into a more Senior HR role in the future
• Excellent people engagement skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
