Salary: AUD40 - AUD46 per hour + SUPER + career progression

The Opportunities in MAYLANDS AND CLAREMONT:

Our clients are leading providers in residential aged care and have a very good reputation.  They deliver high quality care to their elderly residents and have various facilities across the whole of Perth where they provide clinical care as well as Extra Services.

We now are seeking 2 Registered Nurses with some aged care experience who are passionate about providing high quality care to residents.  Here is some information on the 2 opportunities:

 

  • 3-4 Night Shifts Per Week – RN – Claremont Facility – 73 Beds
    • Permanent Part Time position
    • $38ph-$42ph + super + salary sacrifice + shift 15% loading
    • Night Shifts available – please call to discuss days available

 

  • 3-4 Night Shifts Per Week – RN – Maylands Facility – 50 Beds
    • Permanent Part Time position - Tues, Weds, Thurs and Fri Nights
    • $38ph-$42ph + super + night shift loading
    • Night Shifts available – please call to discuss days available

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with individual resident preferences and best practice
  • Ensure aged care standards are met and adhered too
  • Coach, mentor and supervise all staff on night shift including carers
  • Undertake clinical, social and self-care assessments if necessary
  • SIRS - management and reporting
  • Ensure all care plan documentation is completed with appropriate strategies implemented
  • Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals
  • Support residents by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns
  • Complete assessments where applicable 

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly focused on person centred care practice
  • Nursing qualification and current professional AHPRA registration
  • Ideally experienced in Aged Care and working with people who have cognitive impairments
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation is desirable
  • Knowledge of and experience in ACFI (Aged Care Funding Instrument) is desirable
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
  • Current influenza and COVID vaccinations notifications (or approved exemptions)
