Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector (QC1105) Tamworth, England

Salary: GBP10 - GBP15 per hour

BE Recruitment are working with a food production company based in Tamworth and are looking to recruit a Quality Controller.

Please note this role requires working in a food production environment and dealing with meat (PORK)

 

Job Summary / Job Purpose

To ensure all requirements are met as per the site standards in line with BRC, customer standards, legislation & government standards. Driving continuous improvement, ensuring quality and food safety are maintained at all time. Mentoring key operatives through their training programs. To deputise for site QM as required

 

 

Key Accountabilities (Summary)

Ensuring all CCPs are completed as per the requirements, manage through all internal holds & NCFs to completion, ensure compliance from the factory floor and identify root causes.

Ensuring compliance to testing schedule

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Responsible for conducting CCP verifications and quality assurance checks as per the agreed timeframes

Responsible for all traceability records being completed accurately and on time.

Responsible for maintaining full compliance to testing & calibration scheduled

Responsible for completion of specific internal audits as per the agreed schedule

Accountable for reporting ineffective hygiene standards through ATP & allergen swabbing

Reduction of site NCFs

Compliance at audit (reducing external NCFs)

Assist to achieve target CPMU for the site

Drive QIP across the site

 

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:00 AM – 14:30 PM 
  • £10 per hour any OT £15 per hour

 

Paid 40 hours per week
