Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Horticulture Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a Trainee in Mundijong WA.
About the role:
This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in maintaining and improving Shire parks, reserves, and public spaces through gardening, turf maintenance, and general grounds work.
- Operate horticultural tools and machinery safely, including mowers, trimmers, and spray equipment.
- Undertake training and development in horticulture while contributing to a productive, collaborative team environment.
- Follow safe work practices and uphold the Shire’s values of accountability, collaboration, and trust.
What we’re looking for - Skills & Experience
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, with a current driver’s licence (White Card may be required).
- Willingness to work outdoors, follow safe work practices, and comply with WHS requirements.
