Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to continue your career in the Building and Construction Industry? MEGT is currently offering an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice to join one of our valued clients, with work available across various locations in Melbourne's Southeast.

With over 30 years of experience in the building industry, this company is a well-established in residential construction, specialising in large-scale townhouse and apartment developments. Known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and craftsmanship, the company takes pride in delivering projects that meet the highest standards.
Operating across multiple sites, the company is supported by a skilled team of qualified tradespeople, apprentices, and project managers who work collaboratively to ensure each build runs smoothly and efficiently.
About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:
- Join a well-established company (30+ years in the industry) as a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice working on large townhouse and apartment projects.
- Work closely with a team of skilled tradespeople, assisting with a range of carpentry and construction tasks while learning from their expertise in the field.
- Interpret construction plans, diagrams, and instructions to effectively complete assigned tasks, ensuring high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in every aspect of the job.
- Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used effectively to complete work on time and to the highest standard, while following all safety protocols.
- Contribute to the installation of fixtures, repairs, and maintenance of structures during the lock-up and fix stages of townhouse and apartment projects, ensuring all work is completed to code and client specifications.
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of 1–2 years in a Carpentry Apprenticeship with experience in fix work preferred. Basic to intermediate trade-specific knowledge and skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities, with a solid understanding of time management to meet project deadlines and adapt to changes on-site.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions closely, work efficiently as part of a team, and complete tasks to a high standard.
- A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, and white card required.
