About the Apprenticeship:

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside qualified carpenters in the formwork and concrete construction industry. You will complete a Certificate III in Carpentry while developing practical skills on active commercial construction sites.

Your duties may include:

• Assisting with the construction, installation, and dismantling of formwork
• Learning carpentry techniques and safe use of tools and equipment
• Assisting with maintenance and repair of structures and frameworks
• Following workplace health and safety procedures on site
• Working as part of a professional construction team on commercial projects
• Completing both on-the-job training and formal study requirements

What we’re looking for - Skills & Experience

• Live locally to Kempsey or surrounding areas
• Must have a current Drivers Licence and Own Vehicle
• Open to first-year applicants as well as current carpentry apprentices looking to continue or progress their apprenticeship.
• A genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry.
• Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
