Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Engineering Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Dandenong VIC!

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Actively following your apprenticeship training plan, with a strong focus on learning and developing mechanical trade skills.
  • Assisting qualified mechanical tradespeople with assembling, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery and equipment.
  • Supporting the inspection and packaging maintenance team in day-to-day operations.
  • Progressively building the skills and knowledge needed to work independently.
  • Undertaking other duties and special projects as required to support the team and business.

What we’re looking for - Skills & Experience

  • 1st-year apprentices or 2nd-year (or above) apprentices seeking to start or continue their trade journey.
  • Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in working with tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Completed a Certificate II in Engineering (preferred)
  • Drivers Licence
