Our client is an instantly recognisable brand in the e-commerce space. You would be joining a high performing team and be working in a very fast-paced environment. This is a pure advisory position that is aimed at providing technical VAT advice and guidance to the UK Retail arm of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Providing VAT advice on business projects and ensuring accurate reporting on the impact of these projects
- Working to maximise efficiency and VAT liabilities by reviewing and developing methods of working
- Supporting the month end process
- Liaising with Tax Authorities and responding to any queries
- Maintaining UK VAT Risk and minimising the potential risks on the company and its customers
About you:
- CTA/ACA/ACCA qualification preferred
- Strong UK VAT experience would be advantageous
- Strong VAT technical skills
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
