Senior VAT Analyst - Multinational E-Commerce Business (JO-2108-182630) City of London, England
Our client is a well recognised multinational e-commerce business. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to expand their VAT compliance team in the UK. You would sit in a high performing, well established team that is responsible for VAT compliance for the EMEA region. This role will take ownership of VAT controls and assist with compliance tasks.
Duties
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting European VAT returns and related fillings
- Assisting with VAT compliance queries from the wider business across Europe
- Managing quality control and identifying potential risks
- Preparing and submitting ESL /ESPL, SAF_T returns
- Liaising with tax authorities, to deal with VAT compliance and audit enquiries
- Assisting with VAT registrations across various jurisdictions
About you
- Part qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT or similar qualification preferred
- Demonstrable experience working in a VAT compliance function
- Experience of compliance in European jurisdictions
- Ability to take ownership of work and demonstrate problem solving approach
