Sideloader Forklift Driver

Working in partnership with a high end importer or timber products we are recruiting for a Sideloader Forklift Driver to be based in East Hull (HU9). This is a fantastic opportunity offering a starting pay rate of £13.75ph with the potential to secure a permanent contract after just 12 weeks for the right person.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday 6am – 3:30pm

The position of Sideloader Forklift Driver will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is a temp to permanent position and will go permanent after 12 weeks providing you have settled into the role as expected.

Job description

As a Sideloader Forklift Driver you will be expected to carry out the following duties;

·       Transporting packs of timber between multiple sites using a sideloader forklift

·       Loading and unloading wagons

·       General labouring including feeding wood through the machines

·       Lifting up to 25kg

·       Ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy across sites

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Sideloader Forklift Driver, you must;

• Have an in date sideloader forklift license
• Have a full UK Driving license
• Ideally have at least 1 years experience driving a sideloader forklift
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Be willing to jump in and help others were needed, working as a team
• Be comfortable working under own initiative with little supervision
