We are recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join a highly prestigious food manufacturer in Hull (HU3). Shift pattern / Working hours
This Quality Assurance Supervisor position is full‑time, working across 4 rotating shifts weekly of 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am / 8am-4pm – Monday to Friday
Flexibility is highly desired.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor position will commence with immediate effect however, if you have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around that.

Job description
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out various QA checks throughout the factory on incoming materials and manufactured products, ensuring all products meet strict food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements. Your duties will include:

  • Carry out incoming quality checks on packaging, and raw materials.
  • Ensure production and packing records are completed and collated with QC records
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP, and site quality procedures
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and investigations
  • Monitoring production processes and identifying non‑conformances
  • Working closely with production teams to maintain high‑quality output
  • Ensure lab equipment and chemicals are used properly and checks are being performed
  • Training and supporting staff on quality standards and best practice
  • Ensuring work areas remain clean, organised, and compliant

The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Quality Assurance Supervisor, you must:

  • Have previous experience in food manufacturing quality assurance
  • Understand HACCP, food safety, and compliance requirements
  • Have strong leadership skills and the ability to support a team
