INDUSTRIAL SERVICE OPERATIVE

Working in partnership a waste management company in Hull, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Industrial Service Operative with a valid CCNSG safety passport. This is a fantastic opportunity that offering a great pay rate (£14.25hr) and overtime paid at even better premium rates (up to £28.25ph).

Shift pattern / Working hours
Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm - with plenty of overtime available

Start date / Duration
The Industrial Service Operative role is a Temp to Perm position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. Once you have completed 12 weeks work you will be offered a permanent placement.

Job description
As an Industrial Service Operative you will carry out industrial service operations to high standards within a variety of different settings. Day to day you will be expected to;

• Carry out general site cleaning, plant cleaning, repairs and maintenance  
• Work in confined spaces carrying out tank cleans or sewer cleaning with full breathing apparatus
• Carry out high pressure water Jetting techniques  
• Cold cutting using specialist hydro-cutting equipment
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.

The successful candidate:
To be considered for the position of Industrial Service Operative we are ideally looking for candidates that have the below certifications;

• CCNSG, safety certificate/passport
• Confined Spaces High Risk
• High pressure Water Jetting

We will consider people without these certifications providing they meet the following criteria;

• Be able to pass a drug and Alcohol test
• Be able to pass a medical, to include high blood pressure, BMI

• Be willing to be clean shaven for wearing breathing apparatus
• Be reliable with good timekeeping.
• Have a valid UK Driving license
• Have experience working within a similar role
