FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTER

We are recruiting an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a medical packaging manufacturer in Hull (HU4). This is a fantastic opportunity that offers stability and great pay (up to £15.52/hr depending on experience).

Shift pattern / Working hours

This is a rotating shift pattern working 36 hours per week – 3x 12 hour shifts

The rotating shift pattern is as follows:

Week 1: Monday to Wednesday – 10:00 to 22:30 (late shift)

Week 2: Wednesday to Friday – 06:00 to 18:30 (early shift)

The Flexographic Printer role will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position.

Job description

As a Flexographic Printer you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing and finishing equipment, ensuring quality compliance. Your day to day duties will include:

·       Operating printing, maintaining printing and finishing equipment: Run all flexographic printing and finishing machines with precision and efficiency.

·       Maintaining high-quality standards: Monitor printed materials closely to ensure they meet compliance and quality requirements.

·       Ensuring proper equipment maintenance: Keep machines in top condition while preventing product contamination.

·       Following health and safety guidelines: Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all company safety procedures and policies.

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of a Flexographic Printer you must;

·       3+ years of hands-on experience with flexographic printing and finishing processes.

·       NVQ Level 2 in printing.

·       A keen eye for accuracy when printing, inspecting, and finishing products.

·       Ability to mix and manage inks for optimal print results.
