GENERAL OPERATIVE
Working in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Beverley, we are recruiting reliable and hardworking General Operatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business offering a competitive pay rate of £12.71 per hour, regular working hours, and the opportunity to secure long-term employment.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
• Early finish every Friday

Start Date / Duration
The General Operative role is a Temp to Perm position with immediate starts available. However, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job Description
As a General Operative, you will play an important role within the production team, supporting the manufacture and preparation of high-quality products.
Day-to-day duties will include:

• Assisting with the production and assembly of products.
• Loading and unloading raw materials such as MDF and timber products
• Operating machinery and equipment following training.
• Quality checking finished products to ensure company standards are met.
• Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting other production and warehouse functions as required.

The Successful Candidate
To be considered for the position of General Operative, we are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Are hardworking and reliable with excellent timekeeping.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Are able to follow instructions and work to production targets.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.
