Regional Sales Manager

Job Purpose

  • To effectively cover a defined area supporting a variety of industrial customers,
  • Developing business growth within Existing Customers and opportunities to Targeted Customers.
  • Existing nominated customers and developing Nominated Targeted customers
  • Deliver budget numbers and key performance indicators
  • Manage the consolidated business plan for growth.
  • Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline
  • Create Budgets, forecasts and financial plan.
  • Work with Suppliers to develop and support business opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidated reporting
    • Report monthly performance.
    • Produce a monthly report that shares relevant information on new target opportunities, Market & Competitor information.
  • Budgets
    • Lead and work with sales team in the production of their annual Budget
    • Work with the sales, tendering and finance teams and any other parts of the business to produce the required information
  • Strategic development
    • Prepare an annual business plan.
    • Work to create specific marketing campaigns, aimed at raising the brand awareness.

Person Specification – Qualifications:

  • Business or Engineering Degree/HND or equivalent experience.
  • Good standard of secondary education.
  • Health & Safety Passport
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Driving License

  • Adaptable individual, flexible & self-motivated
  • A high level of Market & Commercial Awareness
  • Understanding of Value Selling Principles & Disciplines

Person Specification – Experience

  • Experience working with strategic sales process and pipeline management
  • Good working knowledge with Microsoft office suite
  • Operating within a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Practical experience and theoretical knowledge of Electromechanical applications.
