Job Title:  Machine Minder / Operator

Location: Doncaster, DN3 3FF

Shifts:
Nights: 8:30 PM – 6:00AM
You will work up to 5 days per week,

Pay Rates:

Starting rate is £12.20
and after signing of the training it will be

Basic: £13.41 per hour
Overtime: £20.12 per hour

Weekly payments.

Workplace:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Minder / Operator responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery in our beef processing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal machine performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and guarantee maximum output while maintaining quality standards.
We are looking for individuals who are ready for permanent employment and willing to work full-time.

Main Duties:

• Set up and prepare production machines for daily operations, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Manage and operate machinery during production processes, maintaining a keen eye on their performance and functionality.
• Monitor and regulate machine settings to maximize output while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during production, implementing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to address complex machinery problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Load raw materials into machines, ensuring the proper quantity and quality to maintain consistent production flow.
• Maintain accurate records of machine operations, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for oneself and colleagues.
• Assist in training new machine operators and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
Please note that fully paid training will be provided, however we are seeking for an candidate with previous experience

• Previous experience in machine operation and maintenance within a manufacturing or food processing environment, preferably in meat production.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with beef processing machinery and its functionalities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects or materials.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
