Shifts: 12-Hour Waking Nights (7 PM – 7 AM) & Day Shifts (7 AM – 7 PM)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Male Care Assistant to provide 1:1 support for an individual with complex healthcare needs within their own home. This role goes beyond general caregiving—it offers a fulfilling opportunity to master specialised clinical skills, build a meaningful professional relationship, and support a client to live safely, independently, and with utmost dignity.
Due to the specific personal care needs of the individual, this position carries a Genuine Occupational Requirement for a male candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive 1:1 care across 12-hour shifts
- Support clinical care management, including Epilepsy monitoring, Diabetes care, and Brain Injury support
- Assist with essential housekeeping activities, including meal preparation, cooking, washing dishes, ironing, and general cleaning
- Provide high-standard personal care and proactive pressure area management
- Promote daily routines, independence, and emotional well-being
Full training and hands-on shadow shifts are provided to ensure complete confidence.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
- Prior experience with Epilepsy, Diabetes, or Acquired Brain Injury (Complex Care preferred)
- Willingness to carry out standard household and maintenance duties
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date CV covering complete employment history
